The western people who doesn't know about mongolian spots think it is a bruise. So sometimes, they believe that is 'child abuse' and notify to the police. If you see a bruise on baby's buttocks in Korea, don't be freaked out. It's just a 몽고반[[점]]. And it will be gone when the babies get old.
