효진: 저는 김밥을 떡볶이 국물에 찍어 먹는 걸 제일 좋아해요.&lt;br /&gt;

Hyojin: My favorite is dipping it in ddeokbokki sauce and eating it.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
경은: 김밥이 보통 얼마죠?&lt;br /&gt;

Gyeong-eun: How much is gimbab, usually?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 보통, 그냥 일반 야채 김밥은 1,500원, 참치 김밥이나 다른 소고기 김밥 이런 거는 2,000원에서 2,500원?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Hyojin: Usually, just normal vegetable gimbab is 1,500 won, tuna gimbab or other beef gimbab and this kind of thing is between 2,000 and 2,500 won?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
경은: 저는 거의 2,500원 하는 것 같아요. 다른 음식들이 비해서는 싼 편이라서 그래도 많이 사는 것 같고요, 그래도 제일 맛있는 거는 저는 “엄마표” 김밥인 것 같아요.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Gyeong-eun: I think it&amp;#039;s almost 2,500 won. Because it&amp;#039;s a bit cheaper compared with other food, it seems like I buy a lot, too. And then, I think the most delicious one is mom&amp;#039;s homemade gimbab.&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 맞아요. 정말.&lt;br /&gt;

Hyojin: That&amp;#039;s right. Really.&lt;br /&gt;

경은: 저희 엄마가 싸 주는 김밥이 세상에서 제일 맛있어요.&lt;br /&gt;

Gyeong-eun:  The gimbab my mom makes for me is the most delicious in the world.&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 저희 엄마는 소고기 김밥을 만드시는데, 소고기도 훨씬 맛있고, 양도 많고, 그래서 진짜 맛있는 것 같아요.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Hyojin: My mom makes beef gimbab, and the beef is incredibly delicious, and there&amp;#039;s a lot of it, so I think it&amp;#039;s really delicious.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
경은: 어렸을 때, 소풍갈 때 항상 김밥을 싸 줬었잖아요. 근데 항상 저는 애들이랑 자기네 엄마 김밥이 더 맛있다고 막 자랑하고 싸우고 그랬었어요.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Gyeong-eun: When I was young, when we went on a picnic, our moms had always made us gimbab, didn&amp;#039;t they? But we&amp;#039;d always fought and bragged that our own mom&amp;#039;s gimbab was more delicious.&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 저는 안 그랬는데요. 친구들하고 사이좋게 나눠 먹었는데요.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Hyojin: It wasn&amp;#039;t like that for me. We were friendly and shared our food.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
경은: 사이좋게 나눠 먹었는데. 누구 김밥이 더 맛있느냐 그런 이야기는 많이 했어요.&lt;br /&gt;

Gyeong-eun: We were friendly and shared, but we talked a lot about whose gimbab was more delicious.&lt;br /&gt;

Hyojin: It wasn&amp;#039;t like that for me.&lt;br /&gt;

경은: 알겠습니다. 근데 효진 씨, 김밥에 뭐가 들어가죠?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Gyeong-eun: Okay, okay. But Hyojin—what&amp;#039;s in gimbab?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
효진: 솔직히 말하면 김밥 싸는 사람 마음이긴 한데, 기본적으로 김이랑, 밥이랑, 보통 햄도 많이 들어가고, (그리고 계란) 계란, 우엉도 들어가면 맛있어요.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Hyojin: Frankly speaking,  it&amp;#039;s up to the person making it, but fundamentally seaweed, rice, usually there&amp;#039;s ham, (and egg) egg, and it&amp;#039;s delicious if there&amp;#039;s some burdock root.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
경은: 기본적으로 들어가는 것은 단무지.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Gyeong-eun: Pickled radish is an essential ingredient.&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 단무지 맞어.&lt;br /&gt;

Hyojin: Right. Pickled radish.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

경은: 그리고 맛살도 꼭 넣죠.&lt;br /&gt;

Gyeong-eun: And you definitely put in some clam.&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 당근.&lt;br /&gt;

Hyojin: Carrots.&lt;br /&gt;

경은: 네. 당근도 넣고. 오이 넣을 때도 있고요.&lt;br /&gt;

Gyeong-eun: Yes. And put in carrots. And sometimes people put in cucumber.&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 저는 김밥에 오이 들어가는 거를 참을 수가 없어요. 정말 너무 싫어해요.&lt;br /&gt;

Hyojin: I can&amp;#039;t stand if there&amp;#039;s cucumber in my gimbab. I really hate it so much.&lt;br /&gt;

경은: 꼭 이런 사람이 있어요. 효진 씨 같은 사람이 있어요. 김밥을 싸 오면 당근이나, 오이 같은 거를 쏙 빼서, 빼 놓는 거예요.&lt;br /&gt;

Gyeong-eun: There are definitely people like that. There are people like you. If you make them gimbab, be sure to leave carrots or cucumbers right out.&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 저 당근 먹어요. 당근은 먹고, 오이도 그냥 먹으면 먹는데 김밥에 오이가 들어가는 건 진짜 먹을 수가 없어요. 너무 싫어요.&lt;br /&gt;

Hyojin: I eat carrots. I eat carrots and I eat cucumbers if they&amp;#039;re plain, but I really can&amp;#039;t eat gimbab with cucumbers in it. It&amp;#039;s awful.&lt;br /&gt;

경은: 너무 맛있는데요.&lt;br /&gt;

효진: 언니는 맨날 언니가 만든 뭐가 맛있고, 언니가 만든 뭐가 맛있고 이러는데 한 번도 만들어 준 적이 없잖아요.&lt;br /&gt;

Hyojin: Everyday you say this thing you made was delicious, that thing you made was delicious, but you&amp;#039;ve never once made us something, have you?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
경은: 왜냐하면 제가 만들면 맛있긴 맛있어요. 근데 한 5시간이 걸려요. 그래서 쉬는 날이 아니면 만들 수가 없어요. 저 번에 김밥 만들었을 때도 다섯 시간 만큼은 안 들었는데 세 시간은 걸린 것 같아요.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Gyeong-eun: Because, when I make it, it really is delicious. But it takes about 5 hours. So when it&amp;#039;s not a day off I can&amp;#039;t make it. Last time when I made gimbab it didn&amp;#039;t take a whole five hours, but I think it did take three hours.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
효진: 재료가 세 시간 동안 신선하게 유지 되나요?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Hyojin: Do the ingredients keep fresh for three hours?&lt;br /&gt;

경은: 그럼요. 진짜 김밥 안 만들어 본 티가 나네요. 아무튼 저희는 이렇게 김밥을 좋아하는데 여러분들은 김밥을 먹어 봤는지 모르겠어요.&lt;br /&gt;
