From the obsolete diphthongs list I have noted the below diphthongs as corresponding with ones still in use today.

  • From the list: ᅶ, ᅻ, ᆚ, ᆛ
  • From today's keyboard: ㅘ, ㅝ, ㅚ, ㅟ

Is it simply that their writing has changed, placing the second letter in the diphthong on top of the first rather than beside it (as is done today)? If this is so, perhaps we could later detail something about the difference between the two. --Galinaros 08:26, 3 July 2010 (PDT)
