Noun + 이/가 되다:

The subject marker 이/가 is added to the noun, followed by the verb 되다.
- If the noun ends in a consonant, add 이.
- If the noun ends in a vowel, add 가.

Conjugation Rule
	Pattern	Case	Example
Rule 1:	Noun + 가 되다	If there is no 받침 or if the adjective/verb stem has ㄹ as a 받침	부자가 되다
Rule 2:	Noun + 이 되다	If there is a 받침 at the end of the adjective/verb stem	학생이 되다

나 임신했어. 난 곧 엄마가 될거야.	I'm pregnant. I'll become a mother soon.	low form
내 동생은 올해 대학생이 되었어요.	My brother became a university student this year.	polite informal form
한국은 거의 여름이 되었어요.	The summer is around the corner in Korea.	polite informal form
봄이 되면 따뜻해 집니다.	It gets warm when spring comes.	formal form
