Description

Adjective + 게 : Adding 게 to a Korean adverb makes it function as an adverb.

Notes

  • The adverbs should be placed immediately before whatever it modifies.

Pattern Case Example
Rule 1: If there is no 받침 or if the adjective/verb stem has ㄹ as a 받침 크다 → 크게
Rule 2: If there is a 받침 at the end of the adjective/verb stem 늦다 → 늦게
