Having searched for wikis on Korean to contribute to, I'm planning on hanging out here for a bit. If that doesn't work, then I'll create my own, more specialized wiki.
I'm not trying to create my own patch; but I have a very specific opinion of what is wrong with Korean-language instruction (at least among the common resources), and which I seek to fix by gradually constructing a proper corpus on common mistranslations.
2008년 8월부터 한국어를 공부핬어요.
I've been studying Korean since August 2008.
Pages to create once I have permissions, etc.
Volcabulary -> Cultural mistranslations / Frequent mistranslations
끼다 To fit (into) tightly. 넣다 To fit (into) loosely. 허리, 다리, 엉덩히 -- I know these are culturally different, but I don't know exactly how. colors -- there is a lot of work to be done here.
Others: I'll be looking up more soon.
