Adjective/Verb + 아 / 어 /여 + 서 : This pattern has three typical usages.
- To show one clause is the reason for the second clause. In English, it is typically translated to so or because.
- This pattern must

- This pattern can also be used as a polite ending.
- Also can be used to mean "and." (add later on seperate page)
- Cannot be used with the past tense.
Conjugation Rule
For Conjugation rules, see the basic conjugation for 아/어/여. Some basic examples:
- 가다 → 가서
- 오다 → 와서
- 먹다 → 먹어서
- 가르치다 → 가르쳐서
- 모르다 → 몰라서 (irregular 르 verb)
- 듣다→ 들어서 (irregular ㄷ verb)
