Description

Verb Stem + 기 위해(서) : This pattern is equivalent to the phrase for the sake of, benefit of, or in order to.

Notes

Conjugation Rule

  • Remove the ending from the verb (-다) to form the Verb Stem, and add -기 위해(서) to the end.

Rule 1: 보다 If there is no 받침 or if the adjective/verb stem has ㄹ as a 받침 보기 위해서
