- In Korea, doctors should not tell parents the sex of baby. It is illegal. So, sometimes doctors give a hint. 'Your baby is so handsome.' or 'Your baby is so pretty.' or 'Your baby looks like mother/father.' or 'Pink/Blue clothes will look nice on baby.'

- 몽고반점 - Mongolian Spots
- A Mongolian Spot is a benign flat congenital birthmark with wavy borders and irregular shape, most common among people of East Asian descent, and named after Mongolians.
Asian babies are born with a birthmark on her buttocks. The western people who doesn't know about mongolian spots think it is a bruise. So sometimes, they believe that is 'child abuse' and notify to the police. If you see a bruise on baby's buttocks in Korea, don't be freaked out. It's just a 몽고반점. And it will be gone when the babies get old.
