Description
Adjective + 게 : Adding 게 to a Korean adverb makes it function as an adverb.
Notes
- The adverbs should be placed immediately before whatever it modifies.
Conjugation Rule
Pattern | Case | Example | |
---|---|---|---|
Rule 1: | 게 | If there is no 받침 or if the adjective/verb stem has ㄹ as a 받침 | 크다 → 크게 |
Rule 2: | 게 | If there is a 받침 at the end of the adjective/verb stem | 늦다 → 늦게 |
