Description
Adjective/Verb + 지 않다 : This pattern is equivalent to not ~. This verb is used to negate the verb or adjective attached to it.

Conjugation Rule
Pattern | Case | Example | |

Rule 1: | A/V + 지 않다 | If there is no 받침 or if the adjective/verb stem has ㄹ as a 받침 | 예쁘다 → 예쁘지 않다 |
Rule 2: | A/V + 지 않다 | If there is a 받침 at the end of the adjective/verb stem | 덥다 → 덥지 않다 |
