Adjective/Verb + 아/어/여 + 지다 : This pattern is equivalent to equivalent statement

우와! 너 예뻐졌다!	Look at you! You are more beautiful than before.	low form
우리는 처음에는 어색한 사이였지만, 지금은 친해졌어요.	We felt awkward with each other at first, but we became close friends.	polite informal form
1시간 후면, 목적지에 가까워질거야.	We'll get near to the destination in an hour.	low form
조이 트리비아니, 당신은 곧 유명해질 거예요.	Joey Tribbiani, you will be famous soon.	polite informal form
크리스마스가 기다려집니다.	I can't wait for Christmas.	formal form
한국어에 익숙해졌습니다.	I got used to Korean	formal form
