Niveau 4 Leçon 4

Dans cette leçon, nous verrons la terminaison verbale -지(요) [-ji(yo)]. Avec -네(요) [-ne(yo)], -지(요) est une terminaison qui donne à vos phrases en coréen une modification subtile dans leurs significations.


Signification

-지(요) [-ji(yo)] a plusieurs utlisations différentes.

On utilise la terminaison -지(요) quand...

(1) On parle de quelque chose, supposant que notre interlocuteur sait de quoi on parle.

(2) Mon interlocuteur et moi savons quelque chose ou avons une opinion commune à propos de cette chose, et on ne fait que répeter le fait.


On peut utiliser la terminaison -지(요) comme une question quand...

(3) Mon interlocuteur et moi savons quelque chose, et nous ne faisons que nous rassurer en posant la question.

(4) On sait quelque chose, et on se demande à soi-même pour confirmer un fait.

5) On ne sait pas quelque chose, et on s'interroge soi-même, habituellement en pensant à voix haute en demandant aux personnes autour en même temps.


Structure

Present Tense: verb stem + -지(요) Past Tense: verb stem + -았/었/였 + -지(요) Future Tense: verb stem + -(으)ᄅ 거 + -지(요) Contraction When you speak in 존댓말, the verb ending -지요 [-ji-yo] often changes to -죠 [-jyo] for short. [geu-reol su-do it-jyo.] = Yeah, that could be possible. --> (You and the other person both know that something is possible, and you show your agreement as the other person just mentions it.)
