I don't think there is a pattern N+게 되다; There's a pattern N+이/가 되다, and there's another one A+게 되다.Jjukumi 10:56, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Actually, 되다 doesn't only mean 'to become'. It has a wider connotation. 되다 express sitations not controlled by people.
