는 길

Description
Verb + 는 길 : This is used to say what you were doing while you were on the way to someplace or en route to someplace.
Notes
- 길 is usually attached with the verb 이다 to make a complete sentence (V + 는 길이다).
- 길 is usually attached with 에 if used in the middle of a sentence (V + 는 길에).
- The verb in this pattern must be related to coming or going, i.e. 가다, 오다, 내리다, 돌아오다, 돌아가다, 나가다 etc.
